Having a good set of silicone nipple covers is an essential investment for women with breast implants.
Unfortunately, there aren't many good sets of them out there.
There's a really good chance that I've tried every single brand on the market... I've tried pasties, pedals, cover-ups, etc., and I wasn't even close to feeling comfortable wearing them until I got my hands on a set of "Nippies Skin" by Bristol Six.
When I wore silicone nipples covers in the past, there were several things that made me feel pretty self-conscious. You could either see them through my clothes, or they made my nipples look really puffy and swollen.
I also tried a pair where one of them ended up slowly sliding down my boob throughout the night. The best part is that I didn't notice and walked around a party with one hard nipple all night.
Not embarrassing at all.
When the Bristols Six "Nippies Skin" showed up in my Amazon feed, I totally ignored them for about 6 months. Then all of a sudden they had like 300 5-star reviews and a combined 4.5 stars. That just doesn't happen with products like this, so I decided to give them a try. Here's what I found...
Non-Adhesive or Reusable
These nipple covers are actually a line of products, not just a single option. You get to choose between non-adhesive or reusable. I get the reusable ones and get at least 30 wears out of them—and they stay in place! I've even worn them with a dress in the heat of Summer and they haven't budged.
I've tried the non-adhesive version of these, and I honestly prefer the Bezi Bra Discs when I'm wearing a bra.
Next, these are designed to be intentionally translucent so that they blend in with your natural skin tone. Hallelujah! You get to choose between light, medium or dark. I wear the light shade with my skin tone.
In the past, nipples covers may have hidden hard nipples, but they made it look like we had areolas the size of the moon. But the Nippies Skin have tapered edges which helps them to blend in with your clothes. I love that.
Here's another really cool feature of these. Instead of being made from that really shiny silicone, they are a matte finish. Why does that matter? So that they don't reflect light when someone uses a camera flash or when you're around really bright lights. Brilliant.
Finally, they are 100% hypoallergenic. A nice touch for those of us who have more sensitive skin. They even come in cute little box to keep them protected.
After thinking that I was never going to be able to find a pair of silicone nipple covers that work for me, you can imagine how happy I was to discover these. I'm so happy to pass these on to you, and hope you love them as much as I do!
