If you happen to remember when I wrote about that creepster guy at the gym who always stares at me, I feel like I missed a key detail in my story...
Whenever I work out, for whatever reason, my "high beams" are on.
For us women with breast implants, whether we're at the gym, church, work, etc., nipple covers can be a life safer. Especially since many of us, myself included, have experienced having hard nipples way more often since getting an augmentation.
Of course that's great sometimes, but we all have situations where a little more discretion makes a lot of sense. In fact, there is a review of these Bezi Bra Discs on Amazon that perfectly illustrates what I'm talking about, and I want to share part of it with you:
"I just landed a new job where I can wear nice new clothes, but I was very self-conscious in meetings and walking down the street because my nipples can become prominent with a simple breeze. I read a lot of reviews and decided on these. They are fabulous! Cheap, simple to use, and work great. Stop right now and buy these things!" —jenmoocat
I've had the same experience as Jen, and if I'm wearing a bra, I definitely prefer these Bezi Bra Discs over something like the Nippies Skin silicone nipple covers that I reviewed earlier. (I still love the Nippies Skin covers when going braless, of course!)
So in all fairness to the guy at the gym, I'm sure part of the reason he stared was because I was smuggling raisins half the time... But now, thanks to these, it's impossible to tell and they don't show through my sports bra. Woo! (The guy still stares, if you're wondering.)
The unique cut of these allow them to form perfectly to your breasts, and they are very comfortable to wear as well. I think that's because they are a lot thinner than silicone covers. I also love how they stay in place. Just put them in your bra and head out!
So if you have some favorite non-padded bras and would rather the world not see your "high beams", give these a shot. They come in both "blush" and "mocha," and I absolutely love mine.
