If you aren’t familiar with 3D imaging, it’s a fairly new technology that more and more surgeons are making available to women seeking breast augmentation. After doing a torso scan, they are able to show us a pretty accurate representation of different types and sizes of breast implants.
One of my favorite features is being able to see results with and without clothing from different angles. Here’s a good example of what I’m talking about...
A couple important points I need to make...
I consider getting a Vectra an absolutely must for women considering a breast augmentation. (It's Boobie Step #4!)
I also don’t feel like it removes the need for you to identify a Boobie Guide. That being said, I really like the reassurance it provides. In fact, in a recent study published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, more than 80 percent of women who had 3D imaging said they would choose the exact same implant again. That’s huge!
Thoughts from Dr. Ben WoodVectra 3D imaging has provided a major advance in the planning process for breast augmentation. Being able to see a simulation of what different styles and types of implants would look like on your body is incredibly helpful in being confident that you're picking the implant that will provide your desired result.
That, in tandem with having a good image from a guide as Jenny Eden describes, will cover a lot of ground in the selection process.
