If you're anything like me, you have the occasional nightmare about your breast implants deciding to move south as you get older. Or maybe worse; that they don’t head south, but the rest of your breast tissue does, leaving you looking like you’ve got two perfect boobs and two saggy ones right under them...
Take a deep breath...
It’s perfectly normal to wonder what your breasts will look like when you get older, and today I've got good news and bad news...
The Bad News
Think about all the different factors in your life that contribute to your breasts sagging and stretching over time... the weight of your breast implants, bouncing while exercising/jogging, sex, changes during menopause, etc.
It's enough to make any good hypochondriac like me go crazy!
But unless you’ve got a crystal ball, it’s simply not possible right now to look into the future and tell what your breasts will be like in thirty, forty, or fifty years (breast implants or not). It’s like asking if having children will give you stretchmarks, or how your belly will look after pregnancy.
Everybody is different, so it’s impossible to give one answer for all. But the heavy truth of it is:
If you don't take care of your breasts, they are going to sag much faster.
The Good News
When problems show up, I like to solve them. And keeping my boobs from sagging is definitely a problem that I wanted to make sure I postponed for as long as possible. I mean come on... I've got 600cc's. That's a lot of implant!
You may not know this, but there are two main factors that cause breast skin to weaken and sag ("skin cell degeneration") over time:
- Malnourishment of the breast skin
- Consistent dehydration of the breast skin
Turns out our breasts need to be taken care of, just like the rest of our body!
I started learning about how things like Wild Rose Hips dramatically improve your skin's deep-tissue moisture levels and even stimulates collagen production. And how Jojoba Oil naturally moisturizes and hydrates your breasts.
Then there's Raw Beeswax which seals in moisture and forms a breathable, protective barrier around your breasts. And Shea Butter, which provides your breasts with all the essential, collagen-producing nutrients and fatty acids.
All of these learnings led me to create a daily breast health cream, which I call "Boobie Butter" :-)
Boobie Butter is a daily moisturizer that I created after my breasts started to sag and develop stretchmarks after I got implants. It has everything our girls need to be their healthiest, every single day!
When I first got breast implants back in 2010, I went 3 years without putting anything on them. Today, I use Boobie Butter every single morning, and there is a dramatic difference in the health of my breast tissue.
I want you to love your breast implants for YEARS, and I hope you'll keep your breasts hydrated and nourished by giving Boobie Butter a try :-)
