Let me start by saying... sex is not a 50 Shades of Gray or romance novel topic.
Sex is real life, and breast implants definitely affect it.
For me, I'm really happy to tell you that getting an breast augmentation gave me a lot more confidence in the bedroom. I could immediately tell that my self esteem had been amplified, and I was really excited to explore all the new expressions of intimacy that breast implants made possible.
I also loved that my husband enjoyed the results of my procedure. Of course, I know that he loved me just the same before my procedure...
But gone are the days of me bolting towards the light switch!
The folks over at RealSelf.com wouldn't be surprised about this, because they recently did a survey that found 61% of women have more sex after breast augmentation surgery and 70% reported a heightened sense of enjoyment during intimacy!
I won't get too detailed about how we've found ways to get creative, but you can use your imagination :-)
A Word of Warning
With all that being said, I want to remind you to be careful not to tie up your self-worth in your breast size. There’s a difference in getting them for enjoyment, and getting them to feel more wanted or loved. You should feel wanted, desired and enjoyed for who you are on the inside, breast implants or not.
And since sex has such deep emotional implications, I feel like it's important for me to also say that there’s nothing weird or shameful about wanting to improve your sex life. But placing the weight of that hope on having larger breasts isn’t the way to go about solving broken intimacy.
Be sure you don’t have any unrealistic expectations regarding how your breast augmentation is going to affect the intimacy between you and your partner.
Getting breast implants will only enhance what's already there.
