Having been through a previous breast surgery, I knew that it was going to be extremely important for me to get my breast skin as healthy and moisturized as possible before my procedure. I also knew several women who had gotten stretch marks after getting breast implants, and that's the last thing any of us want, right? And so I began creating Boobie Butter.
I had a recipe for a Shea Butter and Coconut Oil moisturizer that I'd been using for several years, but I really wanted to take it to the next level for the two reasons mentioned above. Having recently read an article on the powerful combination of Mango Butter and Aloe Vera Gel, I thought I would give it a shot...
If at first you don't succeed...
Well, my first batch was horrible. I just couldn't figure out how to get the Aloe Vera Gel to mix with all the different kinds of butter and coconut oil. Every time I added the aloe, it refused to bond—leaving me with a really goopy mess...
But I was convinced that this was going to be a wonderful body butter and refused to give up.
And then it happened...
After about 10 different fails, not only did I figure out how to get the aloe to bond to the butters, but I was also able to get my Handmade Infused Healing Oils into the recipe! The end result is a beautiful, white butter that gives your breasts exactly what they need to get prepared for your breast augmentation.
More About the Benefits
If you're anything like me, you like to know about the specific advantages that come with all the different ingredients :-)
Shea Butter is awesome! It promotes cell renewal and increases circulation, both of which are needed to retain skin moisture and elasticity. It also has an abundance of essential fatty acids, phytosterols, vitamin E and D, provitamin A and allantoin!
Mango Butter is ultra moisturizing, and has been shown to assist your skin in wound healing and cell regeneration. It is also super rich in vitamins A, C and E, which work to combat free radicals.
I use coconut oil for just about everything. The reason I LOVE to use it in skin products is because it improves the moisture and protein content of the skin which contributes to cellular health and tissue repair. Coconut oil also protects from microbial infections!
Aloe Vera Gel – Did you know that Aloe Vera Gel has 75 nutrients, 20 minerals, 12 vitamins, 18 amino acids and 200 active enzymes? Crazy! Among a bazillion other things, aloe gel has been shown to produce at least six natural antiseptics, improve skin firmness and heal recent wounds.
