Ashley Alexiss is an internationally published model, and today she is joining us to chat about all things breast implants!
After I ran across her breast cancer awareness campaign, Cleavage for the Cure, I knew I had to introduce all of you to her. She is beautiful inside and out, and as she says, “Curves are beautiful, EMBRACE THEM!”
Jenny Eden: A lot of women have been considering breast implants for quite a while but haven't taken the plunge yet. How long was it between knowing you wanted them and actually getting them?
Ashley Alexiss: I'd been researching getting a breast augmentation since I was 16 or 17 years old. I just always wanted a fuller look and waited until I did ALL my proper research to head out and get a consultation.
JE: I know there was a pretty big difference in the bra size you were originally aiming for and where you ended up after meeting with your plastic surgeon. Can you tell us about that experience?
AA: I found a doctor in Philadelphia, and he made me feel incredibly comfortable because he knew what I wanted. Starting out, I was a full C and wanted to go to a DD. But because of the look I wanted to achieve and my existent breast tissue, I ended up being a GG.
Bit of a difference, I know.
JE: Yeah, that's definitely a big difference! :-) What size breast implants did you end up going with, and have you ever thought about going down in size?
AA: Right now I have 450CC's of Saline, but on August 19, I'm finally going to revise my size to a DD. I'm also changing out my saline breast implants for silicone with a plastic surgeon I've found in Beverly Hills :-)
JE: Folks might not know how fun that breast implants can be... do you have any favorite "boob tricks" that you've discovered since you got breast implants?
AA: Since my breast implants are under the muscle, I can make my boob twerk! LOL It's hilarious. I can make them jump up and down by just flexing haha :-)
JE: That's awesome, and I'm sure you've got some great advice for women reading this interview who are considering a boob job. What would you say those ladies?
AA: If you think you want to do it, do your research and go to consultations. See if this is what you really want. You're putting scars on your body, and putting yourself through 4 days of ridiculous pain.
It's all worth it, but you need to make sure you want it.
It's all about making YOU happy. Don't do it for anyone else, and don't listen to what anyone else has to say. It's been one of my best investments, and I'm more than happy I did it. I'd do it all over again...
Oh wait, I am :P
I so appreciate the time that Ashley has taken out of her insane schedule to be with us and share a little of her story with us. Be sure to check out all of her social media below, as well as her Model Mayhem page :-)
