I’ve never met Dr. Ted Eisenber, but I hope to some day, because he’s created something that plastic surgeons have been trying to do for years. There have been a lot of books written by surgeons about breast augmentation, and The Scoop on Breasts is definitely my favorite so far.
It’s approachable and down-to-earth; and if you can get past the puns and corniness, you’ll finish the book more informed than when you started it.
It’s also free to read from Amazon.
One thing I really appreciate is how Dr. Eisenberg showcased his personality throughout the book. It felt more like a conversation than it did reading, and it covered a really wide gamut of questions and myths about breast implants. Obviously, that’s a lot of what I do here on my blog, so I’m naturally endeared to it.
I also believe that the topic of breast augmentation would be less taboo if more plastic surgeons published content like this. It’s a shame that the craziness of Katie Price has more volume in the market place than the proven, solid information covered in these pages.
Here a couple of pictures I took of the copy I have:
Honestly, there’s only one thing this book doesn’t have that it desperately needs…
A Creative Director.
Visually, this book is as jarring as a wooden rollercoaster. There’s no consistent look or design between any of the pages, and the extreme use of stock photography let me down.
But nevertheless, I’m still genuinely excited to share this book with you, and equally hopeful to see a redesigned version 2 in the near future!
